Lighting the Way for Zero Harm

ClearTech™

ClearTech™ is a suite of technologies developed and patented by our long-standing manufacturing partner specifically for LED strip lighting.

Each one targets a common failure point found when installing LED strip lights in heavy industrial settings, and together they are why our lights perform reliably in the harshest mining, tunnelling, oil and gas, and industrial environments.

We would like to acknowledge the engineers who made these advances possible, along with our customers and partners whose demanding sites and honest feedback continue to push us forward. We can proudly say that ClearTech™ is why over 99% of our long-standing customers have been operating our lighting for more than 10 years without a single failure.

PinBoost™PATENT

The core technology of the PinBoost™ is to place reinforcement components on both sides of the SMD LED, effectively reducing damage to SMT LEDs on the FPCB due to external forces caused by incorrect bending and distortion.

DryWire™PATENT

When LED Lighting, regardless of their IP rating are used in high humidity environments over time, water and moisture often slowly penetrate the strip via the conducting wire, leading to short circuit damage.

This is known as the capillary effect.

DryWire™ effectively blocks this moisture entering the light strip by preventing water ingress through the conducting wire.

Insulfit™PATENT

Most LED strip lights are connected to their power cable using stranded wire and inserted pins, sealed with glue and a heat-shrink sleeve making the joint a known weak point. Over time the seal can crack or lift, letting in moisture that causes corrosion and failure, particularly in outdoor and heavy industrial environments.

Insulfit™ replaces this method by combining precision mechanical design with water-repellent sealing materials. A mechanical connector compresses a specially formulated silicone gasket, firmly around the end of the light.

The result is a hermetic seal that keeps the moisture out and the MineGlow LED Strip Light works reliably for years.

TwinFlex™PATENT

Modern LED strip lights are built on a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB). This has made LED strip lights faster to produce and more capable, but with limitations.

The thin, flexible board is mechanically weak and can only carry a limited current, causing heat build-up and voltage drop over longer runs.

TwinFlex™ overcomes this with an additional copper strip. This strip reinforces the light, draws heat away and provides a more secure contact area. It also acts as a second conductor, increasing current-carrying capacity and reducing voltage drop, so the light strip stays consistently bright along its entire length.

C-Mask™

Over time, UV exposure breaks down the plastic housing of LED strip lights, while dust, dirt and chemicals build up on the surface. If the light isn’t cleaned regularly, this build-up is absorbed into the surface, dulling the light and affecting its brightness and colour.

C-Mask™ is a protective top coating bonded seamlessly to the surface of MineGlow LED strip lights. It shields against UV, repels water and chemicals, reduces surface static so dust and dirt are less likely to stick, and protects against surface damage.

The result is consistent illumination and a longer lifespan in both underground and outdoor environments.
