Engineered lighting solutions that improve visibility, reduce risk and perform in the harshest environments.
Poor visibility doesn’t just slow operations; it also undermines them. Increasing risk.
In hazardous environments, factors such as dust, glare, low-reflectance surfaces, and poor lighting placement reduces visibility, making it harder for workers to detect hazards and operate safely.
LED Strip Lighting is not just illumination. It is a key safety control.
In hazardous environments, consistency is critical.
All Mineglow products that are used across mining, oil and gas (IECEx), tunnelling, construction, utilities, ports and conveyor systems, are durable, reliable and fit for purpose.
This is NON-NEGOTIABLE!
It’s not just about meeting a specification. It’s about maintaining consistent performance over time.
Across mining, oil and gas, tunnelling, ports, water utilities and other heavy industry sites, lighting conditions are rarely ideal. Dust and moisture scatter light. Dark surfaces absorb it. Space is limited, and poor positioning introduces glare or shadowing.
These are not edge cases. They are everyday site conditions.
Mineglow’s lighting is built to work within these constraints:
This is lighting designed for how industrial sites actually function.
Sustainability on site comes down to how lighting systems are built to perform over time.
It’s not just about reducing energy use. It’s about choosing solutions that last longer, require less maintenance and minimises environmental impact.
Over time, this reduces waste, lowers resource, supports more efficient operations and it environmentally friendly.
LED Lighting plays a key role in meeting these expectations.
Our x-Glo LED Strip Lighting is made using high quality LEDs, PCB and our own proprietary PVC or Silicone compound for the extrusion. This is done to ensure product consistency and to meet our Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification that our materials are environmentally friendly.
MineGlow LED lighting ranges from 195 lumens per metre for RGB light strips up to 1,500 lumens per metre for high-output white lights, with other options available such as 200, 500, 810 and 1,080 lumens per metre depending on the product required.
The right brightness level depends on the application—brighter lighting suits task and work areas, while lower levels may be better for tunnel traffic guidance or visual alerts. Area size and wall colour can also significantly affect the light level required.
We offer 24V, 36V and 48V power supply options, ranging from 320W to 1200W depending on the application. For shorter runs, a single-feed setup can power the strip from one end, while longer distances can be achieved using dual-feed power, where the light is powered from both ends to reduce voltage drop and allow greater distance between power sources.
We also have a 320W power supply that is adjustable to 24, 36 & 48Vdc.
MineGlow LED strip lights can run anywhere from around 1 metre up to 400 metres before another power source is needed, depending on the product, voltage, lumen output and whether the strip is single-feed or dual-feed.
Our ultra-long range Tunnel series can achieve up to 400m when powered from both ends, while shorter standard runs may range from 1m to 80m depending on the strip selected.
Yes, you can order the lengths you require to fit the area you will install them in. You can also purchase a whole roll with spare connectors. Then cut the lengths you require as needed.
A typical roll of MineGlow Strip lights can be cut into any length from 10cm up to 100m.
They are wired in a parallel circuit, therefore if one of the PCBs gets damaged, the rest of the strip light will continue to work.
Our strip lights are a cut and repairable solution in that if one of the Printed Circuit Boards are damaged, that segment can be cut out and a repair connector can easily be installed on site. The light will continue to function as before. Click link to view how simple it is to install a repair connector.
