Beware of Imitations
THE BITTERNESS OF POOR QUALITY REMAINS LONG AFTER THE SWEETNESS OF LOW PRICES IS FORGOTTEN.
WHAT IS THE RISK OF USING CHEAP IMITATION PRODUCTS?
SAFETY RISK – IS THE PRODUCT APPROVED FOR USE IN UNDERGROUND MINES? It is of critical importance to understand the immense safety risk of installing substandard LED strip lighting in controlled environments such as the underground mining sectors. There are very stringent parameters developed by the regulative authorities to ensure the safety of the occupants in this potentially dangerous environment and one stringent requirement is FIRE TOXCICITY.
The PVC coating on the cheap imitations is very poor quality and extremely toxic when burned and does not self-extinguish.
x-Glo LEDs are fire retardant and self-extinguishing and furthermore x-Glo LED strip lighting has been approved as “safe for use in underground mines” with regard to fire toxicity.
