MineGlow lights up new training facility to improve miner safety

We are excited to announce that in April we teamed up with the Queensland Mine Rescue Service (QMRS) to illuminate their new, world-class simulated mine training facility in Boonal, Central Queensland.

We are proud to be supporting mining industry safety leaders QMRS with a robust LED light solution for the best practice facilities.

The new QMRS facilities are an industry first, providing a purpose-built space for personnel to train for mine rescue challenges and enhance their rescue capabilities in a safe, well-lit and controlled environment.

The Boonal station is the first Queensland simulated underground mine training facility constructed in over 40 years and has been designed and purpose-built with a 50-year lifespan, ensuring QMRS can continue to support the Queensland mining industry well into the future.

When working in underground environments mine personnel need everything in place to support an escape, and that includes good illumination and emergency lighting that directs the miners to safety.

Our LED strip lighting system provides trainees with continuous lighting levels throughout the entire facility to eliminate dark spots and offer high visibility for the early detection and prevention of safety incidents and hazards.

Our purpose-built LED strip lighting has been widely adopted in underground mining environments throughout Central Queensland and Australia, creating brighter, safer and more productive work environments
